Good evening, design friends.
I recently asked ChatGPT for another exciting creative challenge, and it delivered once again. I prompted ChatGPT to suggest an idea that would encourage thinking outside the box while infusing relativity with novelty.
Here’s the challenge prompt:
Design a poster (either digital or sketched) titled "Relative Realities" that visually represents how time or truth shifts depending on perspective.
Rules:
1. Include two characters (these can be human, animal, alien, robot, etc.) who experience the same moment in completely different ways due to their speed, age, or dimension.
2. Use contrast (color, shape, motion, style) to emphasize their differing perceptions of reality.
3. Add one line of text that can be interpreted differently depending on who reads it (e.g., “It’s always now.”).
For my interpretation, I depicted two different individuals who, at the same exact moment of the day, have contrasting perspectives on time. I created an image in Photoshop featuring a woman who feels like time is standing still as she anxiously waits, and a child who feels that time is flying by too quickly. I used a light blue gradient and an oil painting effect to create a cohesive feeling. Additionally, I placed the message in contrasting sampled colors behind the text to blend it together while emphasizing the differences. The message reads, “Imagine it's 3 PM on a Sunday, yet miles apart, we're experiencing different worlds.”
