Creative Challenge 20

In this challenge I found on https://www.behance.net/gallery/103558113/Photoshop-Daily-Creative-Challenge-8312020?tracking_source=curated_galleries_challenges, I was tasked with taking a mundane photo and adding drama and texture using effects.

 I captured this photo on Thanksgiving

To enhance the image, I first adjusted the tone curve in Lightroom, focusing on the blacks, exposure, and reds. 

Next, I applied various effects using the RAW filter, adjusted the levels, and added an oil painting filter to create texture and alter the overall vibe of the photo. I also incorporated a gradient overlay, reversing it so that the lighter part illuminated the darker edges while keeping the center, where the fire is, darker. Finally, I added a beveled edge to the entire photo to give it a raised appearance, as if it is popping off the page.
