Social Media Platform Marketing : Targeting Persona 3

Empowering Busy Gamer Parents

How Frank Can Balance Life and Play

In today’s fast-moving world, juggling the demands of work, family, and personal hobbies can feel like an endless adventure. For Frank, a fun-loving parent who enjoys gaming, this challenge is all too relatable. Between handling a full-time job, spending quality time with his kids, and managing household tasks, gaming often gets pushed aside. But what if there was a way for Frank to enjoy his passion for gaming while still taking care of his responsibilities?

Meet Frank

Frank is a 38-year-old dad with two young kids. He works full-time and loves gaming as a way to unwind. He also enjoys sharing family-friendly games with his children. However, he struggles to find the time to play, set healthy gaming boundaries for his little ones, and keep up with the latest gaming trends that would fit into his busy life.

What Frank Hopes to Achieve

Maximize Gaming Time: Frank wants to make the most of his limited free time by diving into game that are fun yet easy to squeeze into his schedule.

Family Bonding Through Gaming: He prioritizes introducing his children to enjoyable and age-appropriate games that encourage teamwork and creativity.

Stay Informed: Keeping up with the latest games, consoles, and parental controls is vital for Frank, but he doesn’t want to spend too much time on it.

Maintain Balance: Frank aims to find a healthy balance between gaming and his other responsibilities, so gaming remains a source of joy rather than stress.

Challenges and Frustrations

Lack of Time: Frank often feels like there aren’t enough hours in the day to enjoy gaming between work and family commitments.
Parental Concerns: He worries about screen time limits, content that’s suitable for his kids, and ensuring they have a positive gaming experience.
Overwhelming Choices: With so many games and platforms out there, Frank finds it tricky to choose options that are best for his family.

Tech-Savviness Gap: Sometimes, Frank isn’t quite sure how to navigate advanced gaming features, like setting parental controls or tackling tech issues.

How PlayStation Can Help Frank

Quick, Entertaining Games for Short Sessions
PlayStation has a fantastic collection of games that are perfect for busy parents, like Astro’s Playroom, Rocket League, and Minecraft Creative Mode. These games provide quick, enjoyable experiences that fit nicely into Frank’s limited free time.
Family-Friendly Gaming Options
Games like LittleBigPlanet, LEGO Star Wars, and Overcooked make gaming a delightful family affair! Plus, PlayStation offers parental controls to create a safe gaming experience for his kids.
Tools for Parental Control and Screen Time Management

With PlayStation’s easy-to-use parental controls, Frank can set limits on playtime, monitor spending, and choose age-appropriate content for his little ones.

Exclusive Features Like Remote Play

Thanks to the PlayStation Remote Play feature, Frank can enjoy gaming on his mobile device during little pockets of downtime—whether he’s waiting for the kids at practice or relaxing on his lunch break.

Stay Updated with PlayStation Plus

With PlayStation Plus, Frank can stay in the loop about the latest free monthly games, discounts, and multiplayer fun, ensuring he always knows what’s happening without spending hours searching.

Fun Tips for Frank to Balance Life and Gaming

Schedule Gaming Time: Treat gaming like any enjoyable hobby by setting aside specific times for play—even just 30 minutes can feel great!

Create a Family Gaming Night: Designate one night each week for the entire family to have fun playing co-op games together.

Use Gaming as a Reward: Let gaming be a way to unwind after tackling daily tasks or goals, making it even more enjoyable.

Check Out Short, Helpful Guides: Take advantage of PlayStation’s quick tutorials and community forums to learn about features and solve issues efficiently.

Conclusion

For Frank, gaming is more than just a pastime—it's a wonderful way to relax, bond with his kids, and stay connected to his interests. By using helpful tools like PlayStation’s parental controls, family-friendly titles, and cool features like Remote Play, Frank can find the perfect balance between his busy life and love for gaming. With a bit of planning and the right resources, Frank’s gaming adventures can become a cherished part of his family’s story!

Learning About Design 12

Greetings and happy holidays, friends! I'm here today to share how handy Adobe Express is. I've used it in the past, but I've become much more familiar with it over the last couple of weeks, and I feel much more confident using it. I’ve had the opportunity to see how helpful it is for marketing.

One of the great features is the bulk editing tool, which simplifies the process of editing and managing multiple projects or assets at the same time. This feature is especially beneficial when dealing with a significant number of assets, such as images, graphics, or videos, allowing you to make changes without the need to edit each one individually.

Theres Bulk Uploading Assets. Where You have the ability to upload multiple images, videos, or other media assets simultaneously rather than doing it one by one.

While setting up a new project, you can select and upload several files from your computer or cloud storage at the same time, which accelerates the addition of assets to your project.

Then you have Bulk Editing (for Images)

where You can implement the same design modifications (like filters, resizing, cropping, etc.) on multiple images at once.

After uploading your images, you can apply changes (such as resizing or a uniform filter) to all chosen images at once, eliminating the need to make adjustments to each one separately.

You can do Bulk Exporting. where  Once you’ve completed editing your assets, you can download or export several files simultaneously.

Instead of downloading each asset individually, you can export all your assets at once in various formats (like JPG, PNG, PDF, MP4, etc.), simplifying the handling of a large number of media files.

Then you also have the Bulk Adjustments in Templates. This is when

Adobe Express also enables you to apply a template or design style to multiple items or designs at once.

Its awesome because If you’re designing a series of social media posts or marketing materials that require a consistent appearance, you can apply a template to various projects simultaneously, ensuring uniformity across different designs.

It's incredibly efficient. It saves time when working on extensive projects that involve numerous assets.

Using the Bulk feature makes it easy to maintain consistency, as it ensures that design elements such as size, layout, and style remain uniform across multiple assets. Convenience is another significant reason why this feature is so helpful; it allows you to manage everything from uploading to exporting in a single streamlined workflow.

I also learned about the generative fill feature, which utilizes AI to fill in negative space, expanding the picture you have with various options to choose the image that best matches your vision.

This is the image when placed in Adobe Express

I then made sure the image touched both sides of the page and cropped the page so it was the same size at the page i was working on

Then I clicked on resize and chose the option that matches the post I was working on

This is example #1 of what AI generative fill created

Lastly, I wanted to mention the Brand feature, which allows you to create and manage a cohesive visual identity for your projects. You can upload your logo, select your brand colors, and set your brand fonts to ensure that all your designs reflect your brand’s identity. This feature helps maintain consistency across various platforms like social media, websites, and print materials. When designing in Adobe Express, your saved brand assets (logos, colors, fonts) are readily available. You can easily apply them to templates and customize them to meet specific needs. I found this incredibly helpful when creating content for my posts; I chose my logo and brand colors and applied them after selecting a template to achieve a consistent theme that resonates with my brand. Very cool!

Social Media Platform Marketing 3

Hello, my graphic design friends! This is the last round of social media platform marketing posts for now. For this post, I chose my buddy Frank, who represents Persona 3. He’s a 43-year-old man looking for co-op games that are entertaining and appropriate for both adults and children. Frank is constantly on the hunt for games that the whole family can enjoy. He often feels frustrated with the lack of multiplayer support and the high prices of games.

I decided to use Adobe Express to create both posts, and I chose Instagram since Frank frequently uses that platform. My goal was to create content that targets his persona and resonates with him by focusing on what he looks for when searching for games, while also considering his pain points.

The process was quite tedious and time-consuming; I experienced a lot of trial and error and learned a great deal along the way. I definitely feel much more confident in using Adobe Express now. I took some screenshots from a launch trailer on YouTube and got the hang of the generative fill feature, which helped fill in the blank spaces in my posts. I was impressed with how closely the AI matched what was missing in the images I selected.

I created my brand in Adobe Express, established my colors and logo, and applied them to the template for the second post I created. I also added some text and animations that I felt were fitting for Persona 3.
I used videos from YouTube, which can be found at

Let me know what you think!

Social Media Platform Marketing: Persona 3

I created two social media posts for Persona 3, focusing on Frank, a 42-year-old male who is searching for co-op, family-friendly games that provide safe yet enjoyable content for the whole family.

Frank frequently uses Instagram and Facebook, and for both platforms, I utilized Photoshop. I consulted ChatGPT to identify key points that would resonate with Frank by considering his goals and pain points,
particularly in relation to the game Overcooked 2 as that was my game of choice for him. I incorporated these insights into the images I created. Using the official Instagram page and Facebook page for PlayStation as a reference, I employed the eyedropper tool to match the brand colors in my post. My aim was to recreate an engaging post that appealed to Frank while remaining true to the PlayStation brand.

Social Media Platform Marketing : Persona 1

I created two social media posts for Persona 2. In retrospect, I realize that I was supposed to develop two posts for two different personas. However, I didn't realize this until after I completed the work. That being said, I focused on Priya, a 29-year-old single mom with a very busy schedule who enjoys gaming but lacks the time to commit to overly involved games. She's looking for something that helps her unwind and allows her to escape when she has the time, albeit in short spurts, as she just wants to relax.

Two social media platforms that she frequently uses are Instagram and Twitter.

For Instagram, I utilized Adobe Express to create an animation that caters to Priya's needs as a busy mom, suggesting a game that is both fun and easy to play in short bursts.

For my Twitter post, I designed it in Photoshop. I aimed to create a captivating opening line that resonates with Priya's interests as a gamer, drawing her attention to a visually stunning game that allows her to play at her own pace whenever she has the time.

Social Media Headers

It may look like it, but I spent a lot of time on these two headers. I conducted extensive research on what makes a good header for Twitter and Twitch, including the dimensions for both platforms and the importance of using colors that are true to your brand. I found various sites that offered templates for creating headers, banners, and other social media components.

I tried using Adobe Express, Canva, and Snappa. Each tool had its pros and cons, and I ultimately took a little something from each one before moving everything to Photoshop to finish it up. I think I liked Snappa the best, as it offered more of what I was looking for.

I wanted to add a video to my Twitch header, but despite my best efforts, I couldn't get it to work. However, I learned that adding a video is an option in both Photoshop and Snappa. Here is what I ended up with.
